Windows 10 your folder cant be shared free

Well, I just fixed my own issue I was finally able to share it by right-clicking the folder, selecting Properties, and then the sharing tab and windows 10 your folder cant be shared free Advanced Sharing. Every other way I tried to share it resulted in the error message in the title of this post.

When I tried to share a windows 10 your folder cant be shared free I kept getting the message "Your folder can't be shared". Using the method you describe I was widows to share the folder and map a drive to it from another workstation. The crazy thing is I have other shared folders on the same PC that I did not have trouble sharing a week before. I also noticed when I use explorer to view folder properties the folders I shared last week show all the users I have them shared with.

When I look at the properties of a folder shared with your method it does not list all the users as shared parties but I can still map to it.
